Jesus is coming...are you prepared for your meeting with Jesus?
That's the question that passed through my thoughts a moment ago. Of all the people who find and read this blog...how many are really ready to meet Jesus?
Scripture says that we know not the day nor the hour. But that same Scripture says to be ready for you know not when your Savior will come back.
We live in a society today that the enemy of God tries to keep at a breakneck speed. Tries to dumb down people through medicine and medication. Tries to keep them busy with the supposed things that supposedly make them happy.
There's good reason why he's doing such to this world in which we live.
Scripture says to be ready for you know not when...so his aim is to get you to not be ready.
Scripture says abundant grace has been bestowed upon you. His aim is to get you to end that with you. To get you so wrapped up in the world's views on personal rights that you forget to forgive and to pour grace out on others.
The world pushes people to keep to themselves. Another tactic of Satan's schemes.
He also tempts people to maybe go to Church but never to get involved beyond that.
But with keeping people from considering that Jesus could be returning, maybe even today, will keep them from telling others that the time to choose Jesus for salvation is drawing to a close.
Are you prepared to meet Jesus maybe even today?
Are you so busy that you neglect to spend intentional time with Jesus?
Are you going to be stunned on the day it does happen?
Is shame going to describe your feelings when Jesus does appear?
Start today with taking time out to be with Jesus now. Jesus often pulled the Disciples away from the people in order to teach them to recharge with Him and the Father.
Start saying no to fruitless things that aren't ever going to grow you in Christ.
Behave towards those outside of the family of God as though you really represented Jesus to them.
Are you really ready for today to be that day?
