"Do good, O Lord, to those who are good And to those who are upright in their hearts. But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, The Lord will lead them away with the doers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel." Psalms 125:4-5.
Do you ponder the true condition of your heart? Not the blood pumping muscle, the other one.
"You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all
Seeking You as a precious jewel
Lord to give up I'd be a fool
You are my all in all
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name
Taking my sin my cross my shame
Rising again I bless your name
You are my all in all
When I fall down you pick me up
When I am dry You fill my cup
You are my all in all
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name
Jesus Lamb of God worthy is Your name
Worthy is Your name
Worthy is Your name"

Are you sensitive to the needs of the Spirit or are you just going with the flow in this world?
Do you not consider the depths of the reality of giving an account of your life before Jesus one day?
It's never too late to be walking with Jesus in the way that He intended for you and Him.
Many people are very wishy-washy in their ways before the Lord. They don't see, in truth don't agree with God, that many indulgences in their lives are in fact sinful activities. They don't want to give them up so they justify their choices.
In light of this moment where you will stand before Jesus to give an account of your life...are those things really worth the personal embarrassment and shame?
It's a reality that the Scriptures must be fulfilled. The Bible says that about itself. If we believe that, as the Bible also says "what manner of man ought we to be?".
Many employers try to make themselves responsible for your personal development.
The entertainment industry thinks it is theirs to be your source of joy and wonderment.
The news industry, an yes its an industry-you are their product, thinks its their job to tell you what to think.
To develop a healthy lifestyle requires the Spirit of God. Setting our minds on the things that are above and not on the things that are of this world.
Our walk in life is to be with Jesus.
The Helper is the Holy Spirit of God.
We are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works that we might walk in them.
We walk with Jesus, learn from the Spirit. This is a life in Christ.
What steps are you taking to stay in step with Jesus?
Look at the lives of the Disciples. It's a life of always looking to Jesus for instruction and direction. A life patterned after His example.
They asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Do you think they did so?
They learned what a right heart attitude meant.
When you are alone do you consider yourself really alone or are you realizing that your Savior is still right there with you?
When others try to "develop" you, do you compare it with true Biblical teaching?
So-called laws of the land are beyond secondary to the Word of God. Laws come and go, the Word of God stands forever.
My development as a person is to be grounded in the work of the Spirit of God in me.
Work isn't "family". Groups that aren't what I'll call "Christ-centric" are not "family".
It's a harsh lesson to learn when these same-said co-workers reveal their true allegiances, that they really aren't your friends.
In our world we must realize that growing in Christ is paramount.
In our world we must realize that this world isn't getting better and will not. It's on a path towards judgment. Acting like it's not is foolishness. Living like our relationship with Jesus isn't as important as it is, is likewise foolishness.
Our heart condition is something to check daily.
"When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His word
What a glory He sheds on our way
Let us do His good will
He abides with us still
And with all who will trust and obey
Trust and obey, for there's no other way
To be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey." - from "Trust and Obey".
What are you doing to take up your own cross and follow Him today?
What are you being prompted to let go of that you're still holding onto that isn't bringing out Christ in you?
