Wrapping it Up

Wrapping it up
by David Brenneman

This time of year using the word "wrapping" just about gets the same thoughts out of everyone.

When used in the context of Christmas people think about presents.
When considering it when used as "wrapped up" I would have you consider another meaningful thing.

The wrapping up of events.  The conclusion to a act or period of time. The conclusion of a story arc.  The end of one portion and the beginning of another.

We who are in Christ are supposed to be eagerly waiting for the Lord to return.  The wrapping up of this chapter of human history.  It's going to be wrapped up.  It's already beginning to be wrapped up if you're indeed looking.

Jesus spoke in the book of Luke concerning the end of the chapter in which we live.  Parts have happened already, other parts are on the horizon.

What's to note is God's truth has not seen a single solitary change because of human decisions or the will of mankind.  Not a single individual thing by Satan nor his multitude of attempts had changed the plans of God for mankind that lead up to the Rapture of the Church or the beginning of the Great Tribulation that's coming.

No act of Congress, no Supreme Court decision, nothing declared in the United Nations, is going to thwart a single judgment of God concerning mankind.

We ourselves are to be on the alert. We're supposed to be about the Father’s business just as Jesus was.  We're supposed to be ever conscious of the Spirit working in our lives.  Because for every Believer He is.  Both in regards to our personal satisfaction as well as the overall plan of God for His Church.  There are no man-made visions of the future of the Church that are going to see better success than what the Spirit has in mind.

Be mindful of the warnings by Jesus to all.  Warning that there will be people who cry out to Him that they did this in His Name and that in His Name...and He said to depart from Me for I never knew you.

We've no shortage of those kinds of "churches".  They exist in plenty throughout the world.  People by the millions mislead to be something they are not.  My Dear Reader, if Jesus Christ isn't your personal Lord and Savior, the forgiver of your sins, you are not going to see Heaven.  He must be the forgiver of your sins and the Lord of your life.  The testimony of the Spirit of God is an absolute must in the eyes of the Judgments of God.  If the Spirit has not written your name in the Book of Life, Hell and the Lake of Fire are your future.

Every single person who has lived or will live only enters Heaven based on the salvation Jesus provided.   Good works have never opened that door for anyone.

As my Father in the Faith has written in his monthly prophecy newsletter...so I also affirm...the wrapping up of this time of the Gentiles is happening.  Scripture says that.

"For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written:
“The Deliverer will come from Zion,
He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.”" Romans 11:25-26.

Open your eyes to see that the world is moving its focus towards Israel only.  The center of the events of the Great Tribulation are around Israel.  The conclusion of all things, the wrapping up of the prophecy of Daniel is almost ready.

As the picture says, so it shall be. "Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:6-11.

You're day is going to vie for your attention.  It's going to take some effort to keep Jesus in your decision making. I. your choices. That's what is included in being alert.  Any soldier who's told to be alert knows its to do with first the orders of his or her commander.  The wishes of their commander guide their actions.

Are you ready to meet Jesus Christ?  If He isn't your Lord and Savior then the true answer is no you're not.  If you cannot look to a time when you came to Him to be saved, then you are not.  If you are not, when the next big part of the Bible begins to come true...when Jesus comes as He said He would...you will be left behind.  You will face the horrors of the Great Tribulation.

Coming to Christ isn't just about getting out of Hell free.  It's the beginning of the relationship He’s always wanted to have with you.

If Jesus is your Savior, are you living life like He is?  Now isn't the time to be hiding the truth from this world.

Every single word that Jesus has said will come about concerning everything written in the Bible.  Having the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ alone opens the door to a future unimagined.

The wrapping up of this chapter of human history is inevitable.  It's going to happen. Nothing is going to stop it.

Being sure of your salvation is paramount.
Knowing that you are saved must be a solid reality in your life.  Don't wait for you to get your life in order first.  That's His job after you come to Him to be saved.

When you unwrap what gifts you might get this year realize the truth of what's unfolding before your eyes that people for thousands of years have been waiting to see.
