Walking Worthy

Walking Worthy
by David Brenneman

A thousand generations falling down in worship
To sing the song of ages to the Lamb
And all who've gone before us and all who will believe
Will sing the song of ages to the Lamb
Your name is the highest
Your name is the greatest
Your name stands above them all
All thrones and dominions
All powers and positions
Your name stands above them all
And the angels cry holy
All creation cries holy
You are lifted high, holy
Holy forever
If you've been forgiven and if you've been redeemed
Sing the song forever to the Lamb
If you walk in freedom and if you bear His name
Sing the song forever to the Lamb
We'll sing the song forever and amen
And the angels cry holy
All creation cries holy
You are lifted high, holy
Holy forever
Hear Your people sing holy
To the King of kings, holy
You will always be holy
Holy forever
Your name is the highest
Your name is the greatest
Your name stands above them all
All thrones and dominions
All powers and positions
Your name stands above them all
Jesus
Your name is the highest
Your name is the greatest
Your name stands above them all (oh, stands above)
All thrones and dominions
All powers and positions
Your name stands above them all
And the angels cry holy
All creation cries holy
You are lifted high, holy
Holy forever (we cry holy, holy, holy)
Hear Your people sing (we will sing) holy
To the King of kings (holy), holy (holy is the Lord)
You will always be holy
Holy forever
You will always be holy
Holy forever

Chris Tomlin - Holy Forever 2022

Woke up to the chorus of this playing in my mind. What a way to start my day. It also made me think of another song called the Revelation Song by Passion.

Jesus is coming again, just as He promised.

There's those who chime in with those who asked centuries ago about where is He and this promise of His coming? The reason then is the reason now. He's not willing that any should perish but that all might be saved.

But make no mistake. There IS a last person who will be saved before Jesus comes. There will be those saved during the 7 year Great Tribulation but before that there's a definite cut off time.

The Apostles taught us in the Bible to be sure of our salvation in Christ. Be found by Him to be walking in the truth of God in Christ Jesus.

So in light of these thoughts...are you?

Would you be commended for your walk in Christ by Jesus or would you suddenly find yourself royally embarrassed?

Are you so caught up in what you want and when you want it that you're not considering the walk in Christ that you're supposed to be having with Him?

Yes we need to make a living.
Yes we have obligations to job and family.

However Jesus said that we're to take up our own cross and follow Him. Our relationship with Jesus must come first. Our lives aren't our own...they're not about us.

Should Jesus open the doors to Heaven today and shout to all who are His sheep to come, would you be going? Faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation is the only way to leave this world for His Heaven. Being a good and decent person absolutely won't cut it. There's millions of good Baptists, good Catholics, good Pharisees good Elders, good Deacons, good Grace Brethren, good teachers of the Law, good mothers, good fathers, good children, good Popes, good Cardinals, good people....in Hell. Only the saved in Christ Jesus are in Heaven. There is no other way and by no other name under Heaven by which we must be saved.

Good isn't good enough. Without salvation in Christ there's no seal of the Holy Spirit upon a person that says they belong to Christ.

Without that testimony of the Spirit of God there's nothing written in the Lamb's book of Life that says that they're His.

Jesus is indeed Holy forever.
Jesus hears from the Angels in Heaven, those who've gone on before who are saved cry out Holy!

Be sure of your salvation in Christ.

"But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:8-13.
Once you are saved...LIVE IT!

Either shame or joy will grip people who are saved when they leave this world. We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works that we might walk in them. Are you walking in them or walking as you please?

We're to live life in Christ in such a way that people see our good works and glorify our Father in Heaven. Do you? Are your posts on social media a reflection of a life in Christ?

Walk worthy of your calling in Christ.
