Making a Difference in a World you can't See

Making a Difference in a world you can't See

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile
himself with the portion of the king's delicacies.

Daniel 1:8

Would you dare to believe that God, who called you to Himself and equipped you with His Spirit, could work mightily through you? Have you made the connection between the time and place in which you live and God's call upon you? World events never catch God by surprise. He placed you precisely where you are for a purpose.

Daniel did not let the temptations of his day interfere with his relationship to the Lord. He knew that to make his life useful to God he must be obedient in all things. Regardless of what the most powerful king in the world commanded, Daniel refused to compromise what he knew God required of him.
History is replete with examples of Christian men and women who believed that God would work through them to make a significant difference for His kingdom. God placed Esther strategically in the king's court at a crucial time when she could save the lives of God's people (Esther 4:14). God placed Joseph strategically to become the most powerful adviser to the pharaoh in Egypt and to save Jacob and his family from a devastating drought (Gen. 41:39–40).
Are you allowing your surroundings to determine how you invest your life? Or are you letting God use you to make a difference in your generation? Ask God to reveal His purposes for you and His will for your life today. - Blackaby Experiencing God Day by Day

We are consumed, from the moment we cry out at birth, til we leave this world, by our sensations, the senses of touch, smell, taste, hearing. We use these to look for what makes life worth living towards what we believe.

But what if there's more?  What if, and no this isn't science fiction, there indeed was a Spiritual realm that life and death decisions happen in that impact life as we know it?

The interesting part is, whether or not you openly agree, you know it's true.  Denial of flood waters, while standing in it, doesn't make it any less real.  Denial of the effects of the sun beating down on your skin won't remove the pain from the burn. God has said His invisible attributes are clearly seen in His creation.  He didn't say that if you move a few things, wait centuries to build electron microscopes, you will be able to see.  What was written about the discovery of the attributes of God was way before any scientific equipment was ever created by man.

Prayer, from an unbeliever, towards God in regards to Salvation, alters the landscape in the Spiritual world.  In Heaven Angel's celebration at the announcement of another person being sealed in Christ by the Spirit.  In the Earthly domain, it attracts the attention of Demons to try to disrupt the lives of new believers. They couldn't stop them from being saved but they will try to keep them from being effective.  They cannot stop the promises of God in the lived of believers but they can cause them to forget that they are there or to ask for help.

Prayer, as its written, of a righteous man avails much.  For those growing in Christ, who are walking as taught from the Bible, prayer is indeed rich and powerful.  Demons try, but are kept at bay, by Spiritual forces of Jesus.  Daniel saw this first hand.

Peace, peace, peace.  All the world wants peace AS DEFINED BY THEM.  I emphasize that because extremists want everything and everyone to live their way or die.  Christianity isn't like that.  Christ never taught anybody to convert or die.

What's harder is even professing Christians are so caught up in worldly ideals and behaviors they don't even see how they have compromised and complicated the life they think they want.

We are taught in schools about how to be prideful.  The Bible teaches that pride was at the beginning of the fall of mankind.  We are taught in schools of how to be the best you can be.  The world is yours for the taking.  The Bible says to deny yourself take up your cross and follow Christ.

Is it any wonder they don't want the Bible in schools?  What is ironic is after the Rapture, schools WILL teach children to worship again. Only this time it will be the Antichrist they are told to worship.  No doubt Christian songs of worship will be used to worship this puppet of Satan.

Let's not forget this passage, Ephesians 6:10-20 "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be alert with all perseverance and every request for all the saints, and pray in my behalf, that speech may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

We are to remember and to teach that God is.  We are to remember and show the world that Jesus is. We are to live as those who have hope in a world devoid of it.

Satan rages while Heaven celebrates one who had found Salvation in Christ Jesus.

For those who haven't come to Christ yet. My friend, time is running out.  In anything that you have read so far, have you at all found anything less than a plea to grab ahold of the life raft of Christ?  To grab ahold of the rope He has tossed your way? In any way have you been threatened to join or die?

The truth is this: to die apart from Christ means to spend eternity in Hell away from God. To die with Christ means spending eternity in Heaven with Jesus.  There is no door number 3. The gift of Salvation is just that a gift. It's free. It's just got a limited time offer attached to it.  Soon Jesus will return.  As it was in the days of Noah, read this: Genesis 7:16 "Those that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered as God had commanded him; and the Lord closed the door behind him."

Who closed the door? Who will close the door of opportunity? Same person.  Jesus Christ.

Scientists can no longer disprove the Genesis flood.  If even they admit it happened, you can be sure the rest of the Bible is real and true.

Your real world life impacts the Spiritual world.  Your prayers to God. Your praise to Jesus. Your pleas for help.
