Uniquely the Same

We all are uniquely the same.  In that we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We all like sheep have gone astray.  We all.

We all go through much in a day.

How we deal with it is largely up to us.

We can wallow in self pity or be on our knees before God until He changes things.  We can keep our minds occupied with other things or spend it in hopeful expectation.  This world has no shortage of distractions.  But distractions are never the solution.

My sometimes upside down world is only at peace when my time, energy and effort is spent at the feet of My Savior.

I am a person who observes people a great deal of the time.  Watching for what they do and figuring out why they do. Call me quirky but it helps to know your audience.  Sometimes I am off base but many times God lets me see what's going on in others.

If you are indeed going through rough times and are saved in Christ, the only solution is to spend as much time as possible with your Savior.  He promised never to leave us nor forsake us.

If you are not saved in Christ, the world is a very overwhelming place. You run out of steam quickly.  Trying to figure out what to do all the time.  Worrying all the time. Nobody to look to for help beyond yourself at times.

In Christ we face the world differently.  Only those who walk close with Jesus face troubles with a smile.  Stress may be a part of their lives but it doesn't control their lives. We rely on the promises of God.  Which He can never break.

It's easy to cry out to God and ask why is He allowing this in my life!  Newsflash, both believers and unbelievers do this.

To the believer it's to grow them in Christ because He has greater plans than we can possibly imagine.  It's to refine us, draw out what is unnecessary and unusable to Him.  Make us more like Christ.  It isn't to make us healthy, wealthy or wise. Although it may become a blessing to those who grow more Christ like.

To those who don't believe that kind of question is your invitation.  God isn't going to force His free gift of Salvation on you.  It's offered.  It's got no strings.  It's not being pushed.  If someone brings it up and it bothers you it's your conscience that's talking.

In Christ there is hope beyond measure.  His solutions to situations are without limits.  The requirement is to trust and obey.  Trust that He has your situation well in hand.  Obey in what He called you to do.  If all you can do is be in the Bible and pray then that's what you do.

The love of God was enough to send His Son to die in your place.  To provide a way to be saved.   Are you who don't know Him as your Savior going to really turn Him down? Is life worth the constant fights and struggles on your own, wouldn't you like someone to fight for you for a change?

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.
