Hell

Hell

"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it." Matthew 7:13-14 NASB
Countless people have and are falling into this place of torment and anguish.

All who enter have had their theology corrected. All who reside there cannot refute the truth of God in what the Bible says about it. All wouldn't wish what they are going through on their worst enemy.

You have both the luxury and ability, only in this life, to accept or acknowledge that Salvation is necessary and needed to escape this pending judgment from God upon mankind. You will not have any second chances. You cannot use an excuse of "I didn't know!" with Jesus.

Regardless of the circumstances, nobody dies before that moment when God has determined they will never accept His Son as their Savior and Lord.

All people either receive Christ as their Savior or they enter that point of no return.

Truth be known there's millions of people per minute falling into Hell.
Truth be known Satan and his demons have never been there.  The only demons in Hell are those sentenced by Jesus to be there. They cannot come and go as they please.

People in today's world are facing death on a scale not seen in decades.  Funeral homes are at beyond double their capacity.  Yet there's still room in the Spiritual world for people to come to Christ and plenty of room in Hell for those rejecting Salvation.

You read the words from Jesus Himself as to what to expect in Hell.  The pain, the anguish, the torment.  By no means is it a party or a paradise. It's where sins are paid for by those who had refused to let Jesus take their place.

You can find videos online about the final moments of people refusing to be saved.  As they slip into the gated of Hell they cry out at the intensity of the pain.  Even with that they let Salvation's answer to it slip away.

It matters not your opinion on Heaven or Hell. You have no voice in matters of Judgment that the Father only gave to Jesus Christ.

Reading farther in Matthew 7:15-28 NASB we see this:
"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

“Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and its collapse was great.”

When Jesus had finished these words, the crowds were amazed at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes.

Your life you live is filled with things that you have done. Spiritually speaking it's either deeds of righteousness or deeds of sin. We are born into sin thanks to Adam and Eve. That alone will send you to Hell.  We compound it by embracing sin. We are indeed those living in the darkness mentioned in the early chapters of the book of John.

But at some point in my life and in yours, a light will be seen that's wrought in God.  It's in that moment that we will see the truth of God concerning salvation. In that moment we are without excuse before Jesus Christ.

It matters not what good people do in life if they have not salvation in Christ Jesus alone, they fall into Hell at theirs end.

It matters not how tragic a person's end is in this life, if they died without salvation in Christ Jesus they wake up to torment in Hell.

It matters not where in this universe a person is, if they die without knowing Jesus as their Savior and Lord they will find themselves in Hell at their death.

Jesus is the only way to be saved.
Jesus is the only way.

The Bible is very clear that there's no other name under Heaven given among men that we must be saved. Acts 4:12.

You could be thinking that any talk about your death is premature. That you have time. That you erroneously believe that you have time. I was reading yesterday of a former co-worker who's husband stood up to go get his medications and fell down dead. Massive heart attack.
He probably felt perfectly fine until that second. He had no time to tell anything to anyone. If he died without Christ he woke up in torment in Hell. If he was indeed saved then he opened his eyes in Heaven to see Jesus.  That's the reality of death, of Heaven and Hell.

You could be sitting there thinking too much of your life is going right.  That you just had a baby, you have a great job. Wonderful family, life is good!  So it is with many right before their time is up.

Your only chance at salvation comes in this life.
Your only time is right now.
Your next breath isn't promised.

If you could hear the trillions of voices crying out in Hell they would tell you precisely what Jesus conveyed in His teaching in Luke 16:27-31 NASB "And he said, ‘Then I request of you, father, that you send him to my father’s house— for I have five brothers—in order that he may warn them, so that they will not come to this place of torment as well.’ But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”  It is my considered opinion that this account happened before Jesus ever came to Earth.  Had it been during His Earthly Ministry what was said would have been that Jesus is there, they can listen to Him.

Hell is no joke.
Hell is no party.
Hell is no place of limbo before any judgment.
Hell is for real.
You cannot be prayed out of Hell. Each man and woman must stand before Christ themselves.

Who cares about health, wealth or prosperity if your next moment finds you in torment in Hell?
All judgment has been given to Jesus Christ.  All.

Many will try to cite their works they did in Christ. If they never came to that place of salvation they will be told to depart from Him for He never knew them.

Realize that God must judge sin. God must do away with it.

You can look it up online, but I will tell you, you must really mean it. If you think you can ask to be saved yet keep on living as though you never had received that free gift.  You are sadly mistaken.  Salvation is a transformation from a life of sin and into a life that honors God, and makes us more like Christ.

Salvation is not a get out of Hell free card.

Evil people will proceed from bad to worse in our world.  You will be goaded and enticed to believe that coming to Christ is for the weak.  That you don't need it.  That's what the evil in this world wants people to believe.

Jesus loved you enough to take your place and pay for your sins. In coming to Christ for salvation we live our lives honoring Him for doing this.

In a blink of an eye you will have no recourse. Either at your own end of life or the return of Jesus to take those who have believed in Jesus for salvation.

Let today be the first day of your new life in Christ.
It's time to stop running.
