I haven't even began to read my Bible yet and the sight of this verse evokes such a strong emotion in me. Time isn't on your side if you're still undecided concerning coming to Christ for salvation.
Not even 3 years ago the world in which you and I live was radically different than what we see today. Lives by the millions thought 3 years ago that they had a long life ahead of them.
Lives thought they wouldn't have the struggles they do in this very hour.
This country of the United States was vastly different than it is today.
None of this is a coincidence. No, the changes in the Earth aren't unexpected, at least not from God's perspective. They are being intentionally orchestrated by God.
No, the strife in today's population isn't strangely growing only due to what's affecting everyone these days. This world in all its aspects is preparing for the return of Jesus Christ.
While no man knows the day nor the hour, Jesus was very clear that we would see the signs leading up to His return.
Willful ignorance of the signs will most assuredly trip you up.
Living life like those signs aren't happening will indeed cause many to fall away both in the faith and to those outside of it. Believers living life like Jesus’s return is way off in the distance, as if they can go and do whatever they want whenever they want. Unbelievers living in the moment with no desire to be saved nor any desire to hear about what's about to come upon the Earth.
We are told to always be ready to make a defense for the hope we have within us. We are told to be ready because we know not when our Master will return and that it's important to be found by Him doing what we were told.
We are told that in these latter days that people will accumulate for themselves teachers who tell them what they want to hear, not what they need to hear.
We have been told since the Gospels to go and make Disciples of all nations.
We are told to set our minds on things above not on the things of this world.
We are to follow the instructions of the Spirit of God.
We have been told.
But why isn't the Church listening? Why isn't the Church praying more? Why isn't the light of Christ shining like the noonday sun? Why?
Because the Bible says difficult times world come.
Men would be lovers of themselves. See any of that in your world?
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 NASB
Any of this resembling the stuff in your life?
Jesus by no means is surprised by today's world. He's orchestrating it.
God the Father's plan is being carried out.
But it is a limited time offer. Salvation is freely sought prior to the Rapture of the Church. It will be treacherous to seek it out after that happens. The world will be told lies as to what happened to millions and millions of people who vanished. Evil that we see in today's world will grow exponentially.
If you haven't been living life as a believer ought to be living, repent and return to Jesus, He's waiting for you.
If you are still resisting that voice calling to you to come and find the peace you lack, now is the time to respond favorably. Now is the time.
Millions thought they had a today who are now waking up in either Heaven or Hell. You are not promised a today. You ARE promised to expect Jesus to return. You ARE promised that without salvation in Christ Jesus you will spend eternity separated from God in torment.
You must choose while it's still called today.
One day the tipping point will happen. The Father will tell Jesus it's time.
All Heaven will shout in jubilation because they have waited so long.
Are you ready for that day or are you thinking you have time? As the Bible says if the owner had known at what time his house was going to be broken into he never would have allowed it. You can never know ahead of time other than to watch for what Jesus said would be happening and right now is happening.
As Jesus said in Revelation return and do the deeds that you once did after coming to Him...for those who claim to be Christians. Return to your first love, who is Jesus.
On the fence? Satan owns that fence. He built that fence. He wants people on that fence. As long as you stay on that fence you will lose out on salvation in Christ Jesus.
Don't waste another day, hour or minute. Today is the day to be right before God.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 NASB
