Was really thinking about those in the Gospels who perpetrated the deception that the Disciples stole the body of Christ while a very large Roman guard of over 16 men watched the grave site.
Was thinking about how the Devil has used radio, television, movies, streaming, to program people to be desensitized to events in life. To pre-program people to not be surprised by things he was going to be doing. Just look around the world today and it's rampant. Deception is found in everything from colleges and universities to what's left of newspapers. It's found in every social media app out there. It's found in every level of government and education. Deception is everywhere. Yet the coup de gras is coming.
He will have already done or said something to plant the seeds of doubt in people to not believe that the Rapture of the Church will have taken place.
Satan doesn't want people to believe in salvation in Christ Jesus already. He's preparing, as best he can, to debunk the next major event in the plan of God for His Church. I was watching a clip from a movie a while ago and that was the scenario. "The Rapture of the Church? That was debunked several days after it supposedly happened...".
We live in days where a huge amount of resources are put towards controlling what people think, say, do, accept and reject.
Psychology is being twisted to help in laying the foundation of this grand deception. False teachers are popping up everywhere. People who are very much not qualified by Biblical standards set by God are claiming to be Pastor's, to be Apostles etc.
People are being coerced into this way of thinking or that without checking with the Word of God.
This notion of pre-programmed behavior is actually legal now in the United States towards its own citizens. It's legal in other countries as well. It's legal because it's what's been allowed by God towards the fulfillment of God's word. Satan cannot do anything against the Word of God. He has to get permission to do what's been done. He is beyond disturbed by the fact that he knows not when the Rapture takes place. He keeps trying to have an Antichrist at the ready in every generation. He has influenced the workplace to create as much redundancy as is possible and calls it cross training. He's developed methods for streamlining the flow of work in the workplace. He wants as minimal a disruption as possible when the Rapture does happen.
Truth is only found in what Jesus has said in the Word of God through the writings of a handful of men. Jesus IS truth. His Word is truth. Our world is spreading false information in trying to redefine what truth is. The unbelieving in this world are perpetuating these lies. The Bible says, through what Jesus said, that Satan is a liar and the father of lies. "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies." John 8:44 NASB95
We cannot afford to keep on feeding ourselves a steady diet of lies and not be impacted by it.
How much time do you spend in God's Word? How much do you spend feeding yourself the content of this world? There's either content that keeps you growing in Christ or there content that's hindering you growing in Christ. It's either drawing you near to Him or away. Anything in between is fence sitting and Satan owns the fence.
Satan's goal in the life of Believers is to distract. He can't do anything without the permission of Jesus Christ. He wants people to believe only what aids his cause.
Satan is planting seeds of deception in your everyday interactions with this world. Movies, television, streaming, chatGPT, are all about manipulating people away from the truth of God. Face it, extremely little on those platforms actually grows anyone in Christ. If the world is heartily embracing something beware of it! If the world is against something be skeptical of it.
There was an old saying that says to know your enemy. Too many don't realize that we who are in Christ Jesus are behind enemy lines. We aren't going to find true peaceful existence until we are in the presence of Jesus Christ either by death or by way of the Rapture of the Church.
We must take control of what we feed our minds and hearts. We live in a society that's way too trusting of those in education, medical, the news and government. The very drugs and diet people are encouraged to participate in and use are entirely for this purpose.
The grand deception is having its foundation laid in this here this now.
Pray that you have eyes that see the truth as God sees it concerning this world.
A very prime example is the Berean Church. In the Scriptures we read that they examined everything to see if even what the Apostles said was true to God's word.
Pray for God's protection for your mind and the minds of your friends and family.
Pray for those men of God who lead in the preaching of the Word of God from the pulpit.
Pray, pray, pray. We need to trust in the Lord with all our hearts, leaning not on our own understanding. In all our ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. All our ways means in all areas of your life.
