Too Fast For You to be Warned

‭"For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be." ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:27‬ 

Crying uncontrollably, the girl cried out to another "I thought I had time! I thought there would be...".  I remember this line from a movie I saw many decades ago. 

So many today who are uncertain or undecided concerning whether or not Jesus is who He says He is or not, believe exactly as that person was saying.  They believe that they're going to have ample time to decide before Jesus actually does return to get in at the last minute.

Right here I ought to forewarn you...that opening passage IS Jesus speaking...to everyone who would be born after the words were penned.  

My Dear Reader, it's the lies of Satan that compel the world to put off choosing Jesus for salvation.  He would rather you fall headlong into the gates of Hell than bend your knee to Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.  He would rather you spend eternity with those trillions and trillions of others whom have rejected Jesus in their torment in Hell.  He’s the ultimate in sore losers.  Sacrificing souls rather than allowing any to come to Christ for salvation.  But be assured of this...Jesus still has the last word.  

No souls find Hell without the Spirit trying all things to get through to people. 

The Bible says that everyone will be without excuse.  Therefore everyone living in this exact moment has the opportunity to believe all that Jesus said about sin, about death, about His wonderful love for them shown by His taking their place on the cross.  About His coming back from the dead, proving He IS the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That He IS God.  

Jesus, while He was on the cross, was thinking of you.  Jesus COULD have easily come down from the cross and said He wasn't going to go through with it.  Jesus had the power to wipe out all His earthly enemies, let alone Satan and his minions.  He chose instead to obey His Father's will.

He chose instead to endure all the wrath of God concerning sin that all humanity ever would commit. 

No, my Dear Reader, you're never going to know that Jesus returned until its already happened.  This world will very quickly plummet into global chaos unlike any time in human history next to the horrors billions had when the global flood occurred and only Noah, his Wife, his sons and their wives were saved. 

Those in Christ will hear that glorious trumpet sound out, hear Jesus command us "Come up!" and that will be it. In a moment in the twinkling of an eye, that will be how fast that will happen. Scripture says so.

You really think that's fast enough for you?

All you will be able to do is cry out for Jesus to come back...and indeed He will...in 7 years, after this world endures all the judgments of God written in the Bible. 

Mankind only thinks its seen horrors in nature or in wars between the nations.  Nothing will compare to what the judgments of God concerning sin are going to be about. 

It does not have to be that way for you!

It's yet another lie of Satan that you will give up the best years of your life if you come to Christ for salvation. 

It's yet another lie of Satan that you join the weak of the world. 

It's yet another lie of Satan that you will miss out on living. 

It's yet another lie of Satan that you have time. 

Some of the most profound stories that grip my head are those of people all thinking they had time.

A former co-worker's husband simply stood up to refill their coffee...fell over dead before he hit the floor. 

A former co-worker who's son just went out to play in their own driveway was spending that night in a hospital. 

A dear man of God, was writing a paper to help others to grow in Christ, went to bed 4 years ago yesterday and during the night was ushered into the presence of Jesus. 

Many millions last night went to bed all who thought they had a today to wake up to.  

Now multiply that by billions who have believed Satan's lies and will cry out for Jesus to come back for them as the world descends into chaos.  Who will see a world leader arise to supposedly guide them through these difficult times.  Who will spread a whopper of a lie as to what happened to all the Christians.  Who will explain away all the graves that burst open.  Who will try to convince the masses that he has a plan to save humanity during this crisis. 

I'm not making any of that up.  It's exactly what the Bible describes about those 7 years.  Add to it that you will be made to worship this man or literally be canceled. 

You won't have a voice, you will not buy or sell.  You will see his regime grow quickly and his "reforms" come that you will have no choice but to follow or you will be put to death.

Again, read it for yourself.  If you indeed believe enough that Jesus is real...believe it that He said that NOTHING written in His Word will pass away without coming to fruition.  It all will happen. 

Why are you making your desires, your wants, in your life more important than where you're going to spend eternity?

Your every breath is a gift from God to give you the opportunity to come to Christ for salvation.  Your body isn't just spontaneously breathing because it can. 

Regardless of how it comes into this world, all life is granted by Jesus Christ. 

Choice came because of the cross of Jesus Christ.  The choice to receive His free gift of salvation.  Choosing Jesus doesn't mean that you are giving up on living life...it means you will finally discover what living life is really all about. 

Jesus said of Himself that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come into His Heaven except through Jesus. 

He is telling you what truth really is. 

It's on you to believe, to trust, to make your choice to receive His free gift to you. 

"But I'm going to miss out!"

"Hey! I got time!  There's nothing going on in the world that says He’s coming back anytime soon! Life is still going on!"

My Dear Reader...those may be your words right here right now...but those words were also written over 2,000 years ago in the Bible. 

You're not going to see anything saying He’s about to arrive.  He’s not setting foot on the Earth when He comes back for His Church and all who've Believed.  Only those who are saved in Christ Jesus will hear His call to come up.  

If you are not saved you will only see the aftermath of His return.  Countless plane crashes, countless construction disasters. Massive amounts of traffic crashes.  Millions in hospitals vanishing or those having surgeries dying on the table because their doctor and nurses vanished.  Ships crashing into ports. The story will repeat all over the world.

But it doesn't have to be that way for you!

Jesus Christ so loved you that He gave His life to take your place!  He's waiting at the door of your heart for you to bid Him enter and become the forgiver of your sins and the Leader of your life.  

Jesus loves you so much!  

Are all the things you value more important than what God offers you in Christ?

"in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed." 1 Corinthians 15:52.
