What He's Done Indeed!

What He's Done Indeed!

See on the hill of Calvary
My Savior bled for me
My Jesus set me free
And look at the wounds that give me life
Grace flowing from His side
No greater sacrifice
What He's done
What He's done
All the glory and the honor to the Son
My sins are forgiven
My future is Heaven
I praise God for what He's done
Sing for the freedom He has won
Even death is dead and done
His life has overcome
Speak, say the Name above all names
Over every broken place
He is risen from the grave
What He's done
What He's done
All the glory and the honor to the Son
My sins are forgiven
My future is Heaven
I praise God for what He's done
Now on a throne of majesty
The Father's will complete
He reigns in victory
Sing hallelujah to the King
He is worthy to receive
All the worship we can bring
What He's done
What He's done
All the glory and the honor to the Son
My sins are forgiven
My future is Heaven
I praise God for what He's done
What He's done
What He's done
All the glory and the honor to the Son
My sins are forgiven
My future is Heaven
I praise God for what He's done
I praise God for what He's done

What He's Done - Passion Conferences

We've begun learning this praise song at Church in recent weeks. We sang it last night at the early Easter service. Before going to bed last night I sat in this very chair listening to it with my hands raised to the Heavens praising Jesus from my fireplace room.

I didn't have very good dreams last night but they can be brushed aside by what He's done.

I can have good days or bad days but they too can be brushed aside by what He's done.

I can have a time of mourning and still He's there because of what He's done.

I can face mountains and not be afraid because of what He's done.

I can stare down uncertainty because of what He's done.

I can uproot and move because of what He's done.

Jesus has risen from the dead.
Jesus had left the tomb over 2,000 years ago serving the death blow to death, sin and the grave.
Jesus made the way where there was no way to bridge the gap between sinful man and the Holy God that He is.
Jesus took the torture, the torment meant for me that day and because of Him I am a free man in God's eyes because I placed my faith and trust in Christ Jesus alone for salvation.
Jesus lived a sinless life to show us how.
Jesus declared His right as the Son of God to sit at the right hand of God to be our mediator.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man or woman can come to the Father but through Him.
Jesus defeated Satan at the cross by declaration that it finished!

Jesus so loved you that He did all this for you as well.

Romans 10:8-11 NASB  "But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.” "

What Jesus has done He had to do because otherwise all mankind was heading for judgment that only ends in a guilty verdict.

You may think that your life isn't bad, you're a good person. Without salvation in Christ Jesus you're going to wake up in Hell after you die.  That's the truth of the Gospel. It's by grace we are saved through faith and not of works lest anyone can boast that they saved themselves. It's a gift of God to all who would receive it. These sayings are also found in tge book of Romans.

Today we celebrate His resurrection.
Today we aren't celebrating a rabbit leaving candy or colorful eggs.

We celebrate the love of God in what the King of Kings did to make Himself the sacrifice so that we who believe in Jesus Christ would be saved.

We all need to choose salvation in Christ Jesus or we aren't saved.  We must believe in our hearts, confess with our mouth just as the Bible says. We then are saved and indeed must turn away, through the new power within us, to a righteous life that He desires to see in us.

What He's Done...is take your place.
What He's Done...is receive your punishment for your sins for you.
What He's Done...is show you just how much He loves you by becoming sin so that you can receive the righteousness of God.

Oh what He's done...for you.
