The time is near oh Israel...

“Hear, O My people, and I willadmonish you;
O Israel, if you would listen to Me!
“Let there be no strange god among you;
Nor shall you worship any foreign god.
“I, the Lord, am your God,
Who brought you up from the land of Egypt;
Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.

“But My people did not listen to My voice,

And Israel did not obey Me.
“So I gave them over to the stubbornness of their heart,
To walk in their own devices.
“Oh that My people would listen to Me,
That Israel would walk in My ways!
“I would quickly subdue their enemies
And turn My hand against their adversaries.
“Those who hate the Lord wouldpretend obedience to Him,
And their time of punishment would be forever.
“But I would feed you with the finest of the wheat,
And with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”  from Psalms 81

This morning the chorus from a Kristian Stanfill song called "Even So Come" was playing in my mind as I awoke.   Then I got my coffee and sat down to spend my early morning time in my reading.  Right there in the first part of it is Psalms 81.

Then I have a New Testament section that happens to be in Romans to read.  Paul is teaching about how God grafted in the Gentiles, meaning all who are not Jews, into His family.  The main part of that particular passage that ties in is where this grafting in will continue until the times of the Gentiles is full.  So keeping with that metaphor, "is full" means in full ripeness or bloom.

Consider what Jesus taught, of workers in the Harvest.  They do so as long as there is a Harvest.

But if only Israel would see what God is willing to do for them!  Over and over again the Lord admonishes them to return to Him.  They try to prove to Him that they can stand in this world just as any other nation can.  He is trying to remind them that they are set apart.  They are not like other nations.  They were chosen to be His people.  Yet they craved to be like other nations to have visible kings and rulers.  They rejected the Lord as being their King.

But I go back to the words of that song.

"Like a Bride waiting for her Groom..." is the Church indeed ready to meet her Groom?  Really? Seems to me, to watch so called churches today most are trying to fit in with the sinful world rather than call sinners out of the world to come to Christ!  Christ said that the Word of God will cause men to stumble.  It will offend many.  Why is the so called church trying to go out of its way to make it the opposite?

I was told many years ago that I would live to see the Rapture of the Church.  It would happen in my lifetime.  I believed it then I believe it today.

Oh Israel...and the Church. Return to your first love.  Return to Jesus Christ who gave everything for you so that you may live.

Time is growing short. The time is near.

Millions will vanish and it will be explained away by demoniclly controlled world leaders.

I tell you that now so that you will not be taken by surprise, those who are not saved that is.

Because I won't be here.  All who remain will truly find this world headed for Hell on Earth. Judgement is coming. Satan will deceive and try to set things up for the way he really wants to rule in this world.  All your rights will be taken away.  You will be forced to either bow to the new world Leader or die.  You will not be able to legally buy or sell.  It will begin after a forced Middle East peace agreement with Israel. But the Rapture will happen before that.

You don't need to go through that. Turn to Jesus today.  He is waiting for you.

The words of "Even So Come"

All of creation
All of the earth
Make straight a highway
A path for the Lord
Jesus is coming soon
Call back the sinner
Wake up the saint
Let every nation shout of Your fame
Jesus is coming soon
Like a bride waiting for her groom
We'll be a Church ready for You
Every heart longing for our King
We sing "even so come"
Lord Jesus, come
Even so come
Lord Jesus, come
There will be justice, all will be new
Your name forever, faithful and true
Jesus is coming soon
Oh, like a bride waiting for her groom
We'll be a Church ready for You
Every heart longing for our King
We sing "even so come"
Lord Jesus, come
Even so come
Lord Jesus, come
So we wait
We wait for You
God, we wait
You're coming soon
So we wait
We wait for You
God, we wait
You're coming soon
Like a bride waiting for her groom
We'll be at Church, ready for You
Every heart longing for our King, we sing
Like a bride waiting for her groom
We'll be at Church, we'll be ready for You
Every heart longing for our King, we sing "even so come"
Lord Jesus, come
Even so come
Lord Jesus, come
Even so come
Lord Jesus, come
Even so come
Lord Jesus, come
