Rejection by You Means Something to You

Rejection by You Means Something
By David Brenneman

"Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death." Romans 8:1-2 NASB

In Christ Jesus we are saved, sealed by the Spirit of God.  Consider that before looking at the passage of denying Jesus that so many take out of context.   Denying Jesus is the unpardonable sin. Rejection of Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord is rejection of the free gift of Salvation.

Matthew 10:33 NASB "But whoever denies Me before people, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven."  This refers to those who truly never have come to Christ for salvation.  Should the Rapture of the Church happen all who are truly saved will indeed leave the world and be forever with Jesus.   As those sealed in the Spirit there can be no denial by Jesus before His Father in Heaven.  It's impossible.

There are none allowed in Heaven who deny Jesus Christ. This passage in Matthew points to the Final Judgment.  The trillions and trillions of people who falsely claimed a connection with God who denied Christ as the Way, the Truth and the Life.  To the Jews specifically this statement by Jesus means much more. They were seeing Him yet were denying Him before men.

Further you easily can see that while a person lives and breathes a right relationship with Jesus is possible.  Peter denied Jesus before men 3 times yet was restored by Jesus. Most certainly the cornerstone of the Church will indeed be confessed by Jesus before His Father!

Rejection by people while they yet live can be corrected.  A change of mind and heart is yet possible.   I was sharing with a few yesterday that something very powerful hit me about tears in Heaven.  Some likely get tears wiped away by Jesus for finally arriving.  Some likely due to seeing friends and loved ones that have missed. The last group are people arriving to find that people who they thought should have been there were not.  That their claim to salvation in Christ wasn't true and real.  They cry because that soul has been in Hell all that time and will be for eternity.

Corrected is the right word because to repent is to make a course correction. To stop, turn around 180 degrees and go the opposite direction.  While a person lives there remains the possibility of them too being sealed in the Spirit.

A life hidden in Christ cannot be denied by Christ.  Colossians 3:3-4 NASB "For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory."

Salvation was completed in Christ Jesus alone.  Receiving Christ Jesus as your Savior seals your life in Christ.  It says plainly that you will be revealed with Jesus in glory.

It has been rightly stated that our lives are our testimony.  That if necessary use words. A Believer in Christ who is indeed saved in some way is always living out their Salvation in Christ Jesus.  Either in words or deeds or both.

Denial of Christ Jesus is a powerful thing.  It is indeed possible to fall away.  But if that person is truly saved they cannot unsave themselves.  If they end up in Hell its because they truly never were saved.  Jesus did everything to save us.  It's not dependent upon any works we can do.

Rejection by those who have not put their faith and trust in Christ Jesus alone for salvation will indeed face rejection by Jesus before His Father in Heaven.  Nobody else.

"I don't need Jesus" is denying Christ, it's rejecting the only way to be saved.

You owe your very life's breath to Him.  My prayer is that all who read this will come to Christ for salvation.  Settle the ultimate question about your life.

Revelation 20:11-15 NASB "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged, each one of them according to their deeds. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

Your deeds will reveal the real truth about you.  Your deeds include your acceptance or your rejection of Jesus Christ as your Savior.

Jesus indeed was born of a virgin. Indeed lived a sinless life.
Jesus Christ was crucified for the sins of mankind.  Salvation is through no one else.
To believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confessing with your mouth Jesus as Lord you shall be saved.  Romans 10:8-10.  There's absolutely no possibility of Jesus denying anyone before His Father in Heaven who truly means this decision.

If you're reading this and haven't decided yet, know this...not deciding is the same as choosing against receiving the free gift of Salvation. Should you die today you will not find yourself in Heaven.  Heaven is only for those who have put their faith in Christ Jesus alone for salvation.

Your rejection means that Jesus will indeed deny your rights to enter Heaven.
Your rejection means that Jesus will reject you. Your rejection means something that impacts your eternity.
