The Truth is Not in Them

The Truth is Not in Them
by David Brenneman

"But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these. For among them are those who slip into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, worthless in regard to the faith. But they will not make further progress; for their foolishness will be obvious to all, just as was that also of Jannes and Jambres.

Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith,  patience, love, perseverance, persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me! Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. But evil people and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3 NASB

In addition to what I was instructed to write this morning here's a further example of this war we are in.  The crowd that is for abortions is largely described in this passage about how men and women will be.  Not just in concern about abortions but also in regards to sexual immorality and other sinful practices.

You cannot claim to speak for God and yet disregard His Word in any respect.  If God has written that only men as described in the original language in the book of Timothy can be qualified to be Pastors then that's it, end of discussion.

If God's Word specifically states that homosexuals will not enter into Heaven, that's it, end if that argument.

If God's Word says anything that shall not happen or will not happen, bank on it not happening.

Those who claim a word of God that's in contradiction to God's Word are false teachers and false prophets. In the Old Testament times they would have been stoned to death. Killed for misleading the people of God.

To be clear I state what God tells me to and its always Bible based. I can only write what God tells me to write. My chief source is always God's Word.

People who are in that list we read in Timothy reject God's plan and purpose for their lives.

None will see Heaven and all who live apart from a life saved by Christ Jesus will enter into judgment with God. Their future is an eternity in punishment for their sins.

The god of this world opposes everything that the Word of God stands for.

It's a painful observation that those who support abortions were given the right to live yet deny that right to others.

Those who die without Christ Jesus for salvation wake up in a place they would never wish on anyone and can do nothing about. There is nobody in Hell who doesn't have an inescapable understanding that what God said concerning sin was real.

Regardless of your worldview Hell continues to receive all homosexuals, all lesbians all who have destroyed their bodies to make them the sex of their choosing.  Absolutely none will ever see the gates of Heaven. None.

You can’t claim to be a Christian yet support the sins a person exhibits in their lives.

Staying silent when the Spirit speaks to you regarding sin, urging you to speak up, is to sin yourself.  Scripture says that He who knows the good he ought to do and does not do it sins.

I cannot post this on Facebook because they would regard it as hate speech.  It's regarded as hate speech to speak the truth of God these days.

God called our bodies a Temple.  He designed us to be Holy yet sin prevents it.

To murder is to destroy that which God cherishes. When Cain murdered Able his brother Jesus asked him what he had done for his brother's blood cried out to the Lord from the ground.

In other passages we read that the life is in the blood.  Jesus shed blood was valuable enough to cover the sins of mankind.

Realize that Satan had blinded the eyes of this world.  He is after the Throne of God. He lost at the Cross of Christ.  He cares not who he takes down with him.
