Jesus says "Come".

“Come to me.” Matthew 11:28

The cry of the Christian religion is the gentle word, “Come.” The Jewish law said harshly, “Go”—“Watch your step on the path you walk. Break the commandments, and you will die; keep them, and you will live.” The law was a dispensation of terror, which drove people with a whip; the gospel draws people with cords of love (Hosea 11:4). Jesus is the good Shepherd going before His sheep, urging them follow Him and always leading them with the sweet word, “Come.” The law repels, the gospel attracts. The law shows the distance between God and man; the gospel bridges that awful chasm, and brings sinners across it. From the first moment of your spiritual life until you are ushered into glory, the language of Christ to you will be, “Come to me.” Just as a mother puts out her hand to her little child and woos it to walk by saying, “Come,” so does Jesus. He will always be ahead of you, bidding you to follow Him like a soldier follows his captain. He will always go before you to pave your way and clear your path, and you will hear His life-giving voice calling you to follow Him all through life. Then, in the solemn hour of death, the sweet words with which He will usher you into the heavenly world will be, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father” (Matthew 25:34). Even further, this is not just Christ’s cry to you. If you are a believer, this is your cry to Christ: “Come! Come!” You will long for His second advent: when He says, “Surely I am coming quickly,” you will respond, “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20 NKJV). You will pant for nearer and closer communion with Him. As His word to you is “Come,” your reply to Him will be, “Come, Lord, and stay with me. Come, and occupy the throne of my heart all by yourself. Reign there without a rival, and consecrate me entirely to your service.” - C.H. Spurgeon Morning and Evening

I, and doubtlessly others, believe that the call of the Church at the moment of the Rapture will be that one word. "Come!"

Come! It is time to come home!
Come! The place that I prepared for you is ready.
Come! You who are blessed of My Father.

Come! For the beginning of the end is starting.

I had yet another mostly sleepless night.  Wasn't from thinking too much nor was it about anything that I am aware of.  Spiritual warfare right now is escalating.  It's everywhere in this world.  The news won't report such things because they are part of the problem.  They are of the world.

The call will be coming eventually from Jesus to come home.  Not just individuals as happens now, but the whole, true Church.  I believe this with every fiber of my being.  My life hasn't been the most obedient to God, but, I know in whom I have believed.  In Jesus Christ alone for Salvation.  He has proven over and over that my life's circumstances have never changed that. Can you say the same?

A song by The Hopper's called Living in the Arms of Mercy is in my mind also this morning:

I admit I walked too closely to the edge of compromise
And I've even crossed the line a time two
And I understand how Paul could say
Oh God, why do I do the things that I don't wanna do?

But I'm still very much a man
After your own heart
And you alone can win this war
Between light and dark

So I'm living in the arms of mercy
Totally dependent on the grace I don't deserve
Living in the arms of mercy
Lord, I'm down to next to nothing
But I'm dying to be worth Your forgiveness
So I'm living in the arms of mercy

Someday I will rise above it and I'll soar on wings of faith
Till I fly to where my spirit wants to go
And although it seems so far away from where I am
From day to day your peace is in my soul

For now I'm still a traveler
On this journey to your will
So let me take my refuge here
Where hope is sacred still

So I'm living in the arms of mercy
Totally dependent on the grace I don't deserve
Living in the arms of mercy
Lord, I'm down to next to nothing
But I'm dying to be worth Your forgiveness
So I'm living in the arms of mercy

I can't imagine me without
The peace and love you give
And I don't wanna leave the place
Where I can freely live

Living in the arms of mercy
Totally dependent on the grace I don't deserve
Living in the arms of mercy
Lord, I'm down to next to nothing
But I'm dying to be worth Your forgiveness
So I'm living in the arms of mercy

Living in the arms of mercy
Totally dependent on the grace I don't deserve
Living in the arms of mercy
Lord, I'm down to next to nothing
But I'm dying to be worth Your forgiveness
So I'm living in the arms of mercy, mercy, mercy.

Can the same be said of you?  When the day comes, and as Paul said, so I say, that according to the Gospel will you hear that call?

There's going to be a global earthquake to accompany the Rapture.  The very foundations of everything will be shaken.  Global news will be of massive destruction.  Then as people begin to go out, the governments of the world will begin to lie about millions of missing people.  I tell you now, because undoubtedly there are people reading this who do not yet believe.  Who have not yet put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone for Salvation.  Left behind people will be looking for answers. The truth will be that you were left behind.  You missed the boat. As the Lord closed the door to the Ark of Noah, so the Lord will close the door to Salvation when the Father says it's time.  The Church age will have ended. There will be people saved throughout the Tribulation but, make no mistake, they will be the hunted. Satan will think he is finally able to rule the world and will silence any believers in God.

You still have the ability to choose in that you are able to read this in the here and now.

Once Jesus shouts "COME!" That is it.

I have no regrets in coming to Christ to be saved.  I have not missed out on living life to the fullest.  This Earth is my temporary residence.  I am safe in the arms of mercy.  I ask Jesus to forgive me each day because I still battle with sin.  Coming to Christ doesn't mean you all the sudden stop sinning.  It means He will begin working on you and through you to make you more like Him.  If you come to Christ and get distraught because you still sinned, it isn't a reason to turn your back on your Salvation.  It means you are still learning how to live the Christian life.  Paul spoke of struggles with sin. You don't stop because you are saved.  You will until Jesus calls us home.  We then have that nature removed and inherit a glorified body.

I woke was awake, as I mentioned earlier, so I tried to pray.  It was prayer that got me through yesterday.  It will be prayer that gets me through today.

I don't have all the answers.  You won't either.  Faith and trust in Jesus will mean understanding that and that that is ok.

I implore you to really look at your life today, are you a Child of God?  If not, what's holding you back?  Millions never woke up today to the air you breathe. They either woke up in Heaven or Hell.  They expected a 'today'.

When Jesus calls, will you hear it?
Satan is trying his best to silence Christianity.  To shutter up Church buildings.  To stop people from worshipping God.  This is a prelude to what will happen after the Rapture.

Events are happening at a staggering pace in the Middle East.  The peace afforded to Israel that is mentioned in Daniel is about ready to be imposed.

It will be a sham.  3 and a half years later the peace with Israel will be shattered.

I won't be here when these things happen. My hope is that all who read this now will choose Salvation in Christ Jesus today.  That they would be safe from the horrors of the Tribulation.  That they would recognize their need for a Savior.

Will you hear Jesus's call?
