A Different Look at the Crucifixion

Think on this passage:
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."  Philippians 4:6-7

Now read this...see the connection to how Jesus was?  He had come from a night of prayer to His Father.

Luke 23:3...actually take the time to re-read Luke 23 as a whole.

"So Pilate asked him, saying "Are you the King of the Jews?" And He answered him and said "It is as you say."

Then Jesus answered no more.  But look at the living out of that first passage!

He was anxious for nothing. He prayed over the whole thing that was happening to Him. He thanked His Father for hearing Him. As promised the peace of God took it from there.  Read John 17.

This connection was just amazing to me to just now see.
